In the shadow of our nation's borders, many times a harsh reality unfolds for our valiant soldiers who have to bear the weight of neglect and injustice back home when faced with legal issues. While we relish the liberties secured by their unwavering sacrifice, these defenders of our sovereignty are often confronted with apathy at the hands of the society and system. Within the confines of their homeland, they endure an unsettling paradox, where the protectors sometimes are themselves in need of protection. 

There are several instances of injustice meted out to our soldiers while on leave. Further a soldier also faces inter family property disputes, matrimonial discord and many a times criminal cases as well. Under such circumstances, an absence of a responsive legal recourse system cast a pall over their service. Their misery is further aggravated when they are not able to home on to a lawyer with appropriate subject matter expertise to deal efficiently with a legal issue of a particular nature that they face. It is in the face of this grave injustice that "Lawyers On Borders" emerges as a beacon of hope and duty. This initiative, born of an unyielding commitment to our guardians, seeks to redress these grievances by offering the shield of free legal counsel and unwavering litigation support, ensuring that justice prevails on the very frontlines where our soldiers risk it all. The Concept

The Core idea of Lawyers on Borders is to firstly, provide free legal consultancy services to the protectors of the safety, honour and welfare of our country; “Our Soldiers”. Secondly, post consultancy litigation support if required will be provided by our nationwide uniform network of lawyers spread across the country to ensure that access to justice is not denied to them due to their postings in remote areas and stations far away from their homes and families. 

Putting to use its good offices Khushal Bharat Trust has established a wide network of offices, affiliates and associates located throughout India in many state capitals and also major cities across the country equipped to provide legal assistance on legal disputes both civil and criminal. Whether a Soldier is serving in peace or a remote area in the field, for any legal issues barring those of postings, promotions, court of inquiries or court martials, our network proposes to come forward in their support. Post consultation, if a particular case requires litigation support and if a soldier needs help with that, we will also facilitate to engage a lawyer charging a most reasonable fee to fight the case on his/her behalf.
